The Adaeze Wrap Coat
A double faced wool coat with a hand tied wrap closure, cut for an unhurried silhouette.
Accra, Ghana
Mookies is a Ghanaian fashion house dedicated to considered tailoring, honest materials and a modern, minimal hand.
The House
Mookies begins with restraint. Every piece is designed to be worn for years, not seasons, built from fabrics chosen for how they move, how they age and how they feel against the skin. We work closely with ateliers in Accra, pairing traditional tailoring knowledge with a pared back, contemporary silhouette.

Named for the dry season wind that moves across West Africa, Harmattan explores structure and ease in equal measure. Muted neutrals meet sculpted tailoring, designed for movement between studio, street and evening.
A double faced wool coat with a hand tied wrap closure, cut for an unhurried silhouette.
A high waisted, wide leg trouser in raw cotton twill, finished with a single pressed pleat.
A silk blend blouse with a draped neckline, made to move from morning meetings into evening light.
How We Work
Every silhouette begins as a question about how a body moves through a day, not a trend to chase.
Pieces are cut and finished in small batches, with attention given to seams a wearer will never see but will always feel.
Mookies draws on Ghanaian textile heritage without imitating it, translating pattern and proportion into a contemporary language.
We treat innovation as patience: better fabrics, better fit, and fewer pieces made with more care.
