Mookies Atelier Book
Organized Records for the Working Atelier
A digital tool in development for fashion designers, ateliers and studios who want to move client and production records out of scattered notebooks and spreadsheets.
The Problem
Notebooks were never built for this
Most ateliers we know keep client measurements in a notebook, a spreadsheet, or several of both, depending on who took them and when. Details go missing between seasons. Sizes drift without a clear record of when or why. Mookies Atelier Book is being built to solve that specific, unglamorous problem: giving a studio one organized place for the records it already keeps by hand.
A Conceptual Preview
Digital Measurement Records
Body and garment measurements stored against each client, replacing loose paper slips and scattered notebook pages.
Client Profiles
A single profile per client covering contact details, preferred sizes, style preferences and fitting history.
Staff Records
Organized records for pattern cutters, machinists and finishers working across a studio's production.
Measurement History
A history of past measurements over time, so a studio can see how a client's fit has changed between commissions.
Fitting Notes
A place to record notes from each fitting, so nothing depends on one person's memory of how a garment sat.
Organized Fashion Records
One system in place of many notebooks, designed around how ateliers actually work rather than generic spreadsheet templates.
Mookies Atelier Book is a concept currently being developed for internal use, with a view to sharing it more widely with other studios. It is not yet available, and there is no date to announce.
